The Flood and River Erosion Management Agency of Assam (FREMAA) has released a new recruitment notification for 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals in environmental management and procurement to work on important state-level projects under the Water Resources Department, Assam.

1. Environmental Officer
- No of Posts: 01
- Salary: ₹60,000–₹70,000/month + TA/DA
- Qualification: Master’s in Environmental Science/Engineering/Planning (or related fields such as Civil Engineering, Forestry, etc.)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in ESIA, Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and flood/erosion projects.
- Preference for candidates familiar with World Bank safeguard policies.
2. Procurement Associate
- No of Posts: 01
- Salary: ₹50,000–₹60,000/month + TA/DA
- Qualification: BE/BSc (Civil) or MBA (Finance/Economics).
- Procurement certifications will be an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in public procurement/infrastructure projects. Preference for those with ADB/World Bank project experience.
