Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati has released the official notification of Apprenticeship Training 2025 for Engineering and Commerce Graduate Students to engage as Apprentices under “Apprenticeship Act 1961” as amend in 1973, 1986 & 2014, Board of Practical Training (BOPT), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for one year for those who passed out in 2023, 2024 & 2025. Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati has been established by Government of India to cater tooling and training need of Industries of North Eastern Region. The State Government of Assam has provided the land as well as initial building to the Tool Room.

Educational Qualification:
Information Technology: B.E./B. Tech. in Information Technology from Govt. recognized Institute/University.
Computer Science & Engineering: B.E./B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute/University.
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: B.E./B. Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
Computer Science & Engineering: B.E./B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute/University.
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: B.E./B. Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
General Graduate (Commerce): Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Govt. recognized Institute/University. Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Govt. recognized Institute/University. is desirable.
