Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 24 sportspersons against the sports quota under Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon. The selected candidates will be posted in the Divisions (Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding & Tinsukia) or Headquarter of N.F. Railway as per requirement of Sports and availability of vacancies.

Essential Qualification: Graduate or equivalent examination passed from a recognized university/ institution.
Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment: At least 3rd position in any of the Category-B championships/ events.

Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment: Represented the country in any of the Category-B Championships/events

At least 3rd position in any of the Category-C championships/events
OR
At least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships
OR
At least 3rd position in the National Games organized under the aegis of the Indian Olympic Association
OR
At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championships organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities
OR
1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)

At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
OR
Represented a state or equivalent unit, except in marathon and cross-country with at least 8th position in Senior National championships only.
Application FEE of NF Railway Sports Quota Recruitment
❖ Others: Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only).
❖ SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Minority and Economic Backward Class candidates: Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only).
How to Apply for NF Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2025
Candidates are required to apply ONLINE through the link given in the website www.nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. Candidates must read all the instructions mentioned in this notification carefully before filling up the online application form.
Candidates must indicate their active mobile number and valid e-mail ID in their online application and keep them active during the entire recruitment process as all important information will be sent either by email / SMS and uploaded on website – which will be treated as deemed to have been read by the candidates.
DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED:
1. Scanned copy of minimum educational qualification mark-sheet or pass certificate or its equivalent as prescribed in the notification.
2. Certificate in proof of recognized sports achievement held on or after 01/04/2021
3. Certificate for proof of date of birth
4. Scanned copy of caste certificate for SC, ST, OBC-NCL candidates, wherever applicable (as prescribed in Annexures - C & D).
5. Scanned copy of Income Certificate for EBC candidates claiming fee exemption (as prescribed in AnnexureB).
6. Minority Community candidates should attach self-declaration (as prescribed in Annexure-A)
7. Copy of No Objection Certificate for candidates serving in government, PSU, bank, etc.
8. Scanned photograph.
9. Scanned signature.
