• Fencing: Male:1, Female:4

• Pencak Silat: Male:3, Female:7

Pay Scale: Pay scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles personnel as per 7th CPC.
Eligibility Criteria of Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 23 years.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as under.
• Gen/OBC: 5 years
• SC/ST: 10 years
Essential Education Qualification: Matriculation from a recognised Board.
Sports Qualification: Players who have participated in any international competition/ National Competitions/ Inter-University Tournaments/ National Sports/ Games for Schools/ Khelo India University Games/ Khelo India Youth Games/ Khelo India Winter Games/ Khelo India Para Games.

Selection Process of Assam Rifles Sportsperson Recruitment

Final Selection - Final selection will be done on the basis of achievements and performance in Field Trials / level of participation. Please note that merely qualifying in all tests does not guarantee the Final Selection into the Assam Rifles. The Final Selection will only be made on the basis of position of the candidates in Merit List in accordance with the availability of vacancies in the respective sports discipline.

How to Apply for Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment
Candidates are required to submit application through online mode only. To apply fill up the online application by clicking on “ONLINE APPLICATION” option and follows the instructions given on the Online Application portal of the website.
The online applications portal will remain functional till last date of submission of online Application Form. Last date of receipt of applications for all candidates is 15th September 2025.
