Under this portal, 10th pass students will also get a chance to do internship, along with a stipend of Rs 5000 every month. PM Internship Portal: Eligibility, Benefits and Application Process
The central government has launched the PM Internship Yojana portal from today. This scheme has been launched with the aim of providing professional experience to the youth, so that they can do internships in government departments and develop practical skills. Interested candidates can apply through this portal.
PM Internship Portal: Objective of this scheme
The main objective of this scheme is to give practical experience to the students in their educational life itself, so that when they complete their education, they are better prepared for the job. This will not only increase their confidence, but they will also develop an understanding of the working world. The Prime Minister's Internship Portal is designed to promote the skills of the youth as well as make them employable.
PM Internship Portal: Who can apply?
All 10th pass students can apply under this scheme. For this, they have to go to the Prime Minister's Internship Portal and register themselves. During the internship, students will get a chance to work in various fields, such as technical, management, government services, and others. This will give them an opportunity to choose the field according to their interest and lay the foundation of their career in the same direction.
PM Internship Portal Eligibility
Candidates applying for this internship must fulfill the following conditions:
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the secondary examination i.e. 12th class.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 24 years.
Other Conditions: No member in the candidate's family should be in a government job or receiving any kind of government assistance. Also, the annual income of the candidate's family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
Candidates can apply through the online portal. The selection process will be done on the basis of the educational qualification and other experiences of the candidate. The selected interns will be given necessary training so that they can perform their tasks efficiently during the internship.
PM Internship Portal: Financial Assistance
Under this scheme, interns will be provided an honorarium of Rs 5000 per month. Out of this, Rs 4500 will be a monthly allowance, while Rs 500 will be given as travel allowance. This financial assistance will help the interns to focus on their duties without any financial worries.

The selection process will be online, in which various government ministries and departments will post vacancies for their internships. Selection will be done on the basis of the educational qualification and other parameters of the candidate.
